Apple TV + has unveiled the trailer for the new dark comedy Bad Sisters, by Emmy nominee and BAFTA winner Sharon Horgan. The series will debut on August 19 with the first two episodes of the 10 total, followed by a new weekly episode every Friday, through October 14. Bad Sisters stars the close-knit sisters Garvey.
They are very close and have always taken care of each other. When the husband of one of them dies, his life insurance starts an investigation to investigate the causes of death and prove the involvement of the sisters, who according to investigators had more than one reason to kill him. In the series, alongside Sharon Horgan, are Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson as the Garvey sisters; Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab and newcomer Saise Quinn round out the cast. Bad Sisters is written by Sharon Horgan, who is also executive producer, with Brett Baer and Dave Finkel and is adapted from the Belgian version of the Clan series, created by Malin-Sarah Gozin.
\Sharon Horgan, Faye Dorn and Clelia Mountford produce for Merman; Malin-Sarah Gozin, Bert Hamelinck and Michael Sagol are executive producers of Caviar. In addition to Horgan, Baer and Finkel, the series is written by Karen Cogan, Ailbhe Keogan, Daniel Cullen, Perrie Balthazar and Paul Howard.
