Dwayne Johnson celebrates Brendan Fraser after an emotional viral video - xvideos

As audiences continue to praise his return, Dwayne Johnson is celebrating Brendan Fraser after his thrilling viral video The Whale. Although he is now a famous movie star, Fraser was present at the beginning of Johnson's acting career, working alongside him in the 2001 film The Mummy Returns, with Johnson playing the evil Scorpion King. Johnson would go on to lead the 2002 spinoff of the same name, his first starring role in a film, which saw the character endowed with a more starring storyline in comparison.

Though Johnson is now an A-list actor, Fraser's career saw a memorable decline in the early 2010s, leading to a brief hiatus before starting his comeback with a recurring role on Showtime's The Affair. Fraser has since enjoyed a steady rise to stardom with roles in HBO Max's Doom Patrol, FX's Trust, and Steven Soderbergh's No Sudden Move. Fraser has a number of big projects on his agenda and, one of which is currently garnering early support, a former co-star of his is celebrating his return.

In the wake of the film's premiere at the Venice Film Festival, a video of Brendan Fraser's emotional response to his standing ovation for The Whale went viral. Dwayne Johnson later took to Twitter to celebrate his former Mummy co-star, recalling how he helped launch his career and expressing his excitement about his return. Johnson's celebration of Fraser's return and the thrilling viral video of The Whale is sure to be a heartwarming feeling for fans of both actors, as will the Mummy franchise, which helped launch Johnson's career. Interestingly, Johnson failed to appear alongside Fraser in a number of other franchises, taking on the lead role for the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth, The Mysterious Island, and GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra

The first film in the latter franchise featured a cameo from Fraser as the actor reunited with his mom's director Stephen Sommers for the film adaptation of Hasbro. With Brendan Fraser's career on the rise again, it will be interesting to see if he gets the opportunity to reunite with his former Mummy co-star Dwayne Johnson in the future, particularly with Johnson's emotional reaction to Fraser's viral video. 

The two nearly had the opportunity to cross paths within the DC Extended Universe with Johnson leading Black Adam and Fraser as the evil Firefly for Batgirl, though, with the latter film shelved after production, that future looks uncertain for Batgirl. the two. Meanwhile, audiences are eager to celebrate Fraser's continued return with The Whale to theaters on December 9th.
